Spike Psarris

  1. It is interesting to me that not one of the comments I read even attempts to refute the scientific evidences that Psarris presents in his video. If it is all so stupid, why doesn't someone bring scientific evidence to bear that shows him to be wrong? He presents a thorough catalog of predicted solar system characteristics and then reviews the actual findings of planetary probes over the last few decades, thereby showing the seemingly glaring discrepencies in the two. One recent annoucement even this past week illustrates his point: the latest discoveries about Mercury via the presently-orbiting probe are again contradicting the expectations of the 'experts' of planetary science. You may find a 6,000 year old solar system hard to swallow, as do I, but what about the clear problems with the prevailing model to predict what has been found in fact? Spike is not insane, nor stupid, or lying, but he IS making a lot of people mad by cateloging our solar system discoveries that threaten the status quo. Most of the comments I have read do nothing more than attack the character of the author and do NOT address his scientific challenges. This a consisent sign of a weak counter argument.

  2. Agree with Don, as is common with those holding to a secular persuasion, their so called "refutations" are nothing more than name calling and mockery. Instead of answering the challenges issued by Mr Psarris, you resort to school yard bully tactics.

Mr Psarris's questions still stand and we have yet to receive scientific evidence to refute his research/evidence.

Nothing here but zealots desperately clinging onto their secular beliefs, move along...

  3. The fact is...we creationist already have won the fight. When you have to resort to name calling and forcing us to be silent, via refusal to peer review our works,
then clearly you have something to be afraid of. Clearly you can not answer the challenges and clearly, theirs is no less a religion or a faith than ours.
I'd be more than happy to accept and REAL facts of evolution if they existed. Unfortunately for the secularists, they don't exist. You want to talk about blind and
ignorant following of ones faith, look no further than the evolutionist or big banger. They are by far more zealous than anything I've seen from a Id or creationist.
Name calling wins you points on appealing to the base character of sinful mankind. Though anyone who is actually paying attention can see the totally bankrupt
and flawed theories these people have tried to save from the garbage pail for over 150 years now.

  4. Sometimes, you just have to sit back and laugh. What do you do for someone who thinks that science isn't telling us stuff like the fact that the earth should be much cooler than it is? Did he skip the part in school where Lord Kelvin computed the age of the earth based on how long it would take for it to cool down and came up with an answer of 100 million years based on his own work on temperatures - the man has his own temperature scale for heaven's sake! Given the mass of the earth and the ratio of radioactive isotopes that are present, we model the earth slightly differently then Lord Kelvin. We still haven't frozen completely.

I hesitate to accuse someone I have only just met of anything, but he speaks well, so ignorance doesn't seem to be the reason unless he was too sheltered to have ever been introduced to the ideas of the 19th century naturalists and astronomers.
